I'm at the Farm Colonies for the trial of Boss Bob & his entourage. They were blindfolded for the trip here from the Eau Claire Dells park.

09:58 AM #
The blindfolding is a precaution. If the outcome of the trial is banishment, they won't know much about our territory. #zombie #zompocalypse

10:02 AM #
There are representatives from Fort NTC and the survivor groups at Camp Tesomas, Mosinee, & UWSP in attendance. #zombie #apocalypse #zombies

10:04 AM #
The Amherst survivor enclave declined to attend. They can't risk traveling with so many Reaper patrols and Cannibal Gang refugees near them.

10:07 AM #
They've been lying low since the Reaper/Cannibal war escalated. Their small enclave is not easy to find--and they want to keep it that way.

Something new as our zompocalypse justice system evolves: We're drawing lots to determine jurors. Pete will judge. Each man has an advocate.

10:13 AM #
There's a prosecutor, too, though Pete tends to approach his duty more like Judge Judy used to do than as a moderator of the court. #zombies

02:21 PM #
The trial is over. In this post-zombie apocalypse world of rough justice, the eyewitness testimony against Boss Bob and his men was damning.

02:24 PM #
They didn't claim innocence (their well-fed bodies were hard to deny). They did argue that their cannibalism and harsh rule were necessary.

02:27 PM #
The jury disagreed, declared each of them guilty of unforgivable crimes against humanity, and recommended death as punishment. #zompocalypse

02:30 PM #
Pete ordered the men to be shot by a firing squad determined by lot. The bodies are already burning in a pit where zombies are disposed of.

02:33 PM #
Justice is harsh and swift in this post-apocalyptic world. From what I can tell, it's more fair here than any place else people still live.
